Anti-cultists in the Czech Republic...
As an independent researcher studying the activities of anti-cult organizations, I am alarmed by the growing number of cases of misinformation and slander directed at independent movements and community initiatives. In the Czech Republic, this trend has become particularly pronounced in the actions of the anti-cult organization "Society for the Study of Sects and New Religious Movements."
This organization emerged in the Czech Republic in 1993, and since then its representative, Zdeněk Vojtíšek, has become the main "expert" on all non-standard religious movements and sects. He publishes in the online publication "Religious Infoservice" and has his own website where he conducts a misinformation campaign, including against the international public movement ALLATRA, which has no connection to religions, let alone sects.
On this internet resource, run by the aforementioned anti-cultist Zdeněk Vojtíšek, there are over 25 slanderous articles regarding the international public movement ALLATRA. The majority of these articles are attributed to two authors, two anti-cultists: Zdeněk Vojtíšek and his student Ludvík. The latter (Ludvík), in his thesis, admits that he "proceeds from the theoretical concept of his teacher (Zdeněk Vojtíšek)." In other words, we see not an independent investigation but simply a repetition of the "teacher's" opinions.
As a result of this "independent research," the student concludes that: "New religious movements are conflictual."
Note that anti-cultists, allegedly trying to avoid the word sect, use the term "New religious movements" in their statements.
However! It is important to know that the term "sect" was created by them themselves. That is, anti-cultists themselves created the term sect.
All this demonstrates the double standards of anti-cultists!
Here is a vivid example of how anti-cultists use double standards in their destructive activities: Zdeněk Vojtíšek avoids the term "sect," but his name's domain is "sekty." This is all a demonstration of manipulation and disinformation of people's consciousness.
It is important to note that the most cited anti-cultists in the Czech Republic are Zdeněk Vojtíšek and his student Ludvík.
Why?
Because they are conflictual and scandalous, they provide sensationalism to the media. Remember the conclusion Ludvík draws in his thesis: "New religious movements are conflictual."
However! The question arises: why don't the Czech media cite Mr. Lužný? He is an unbiased scholar of religion. After all, he is a truly worthy person!
There is a known fact that when anti-cultists wrote their disinformation articles about ALLATRA, they turned to Mr. Lužný. And since Mr. Lužný replied that the International Public Movement ALLATRA is not a sect, the media editor no longer consulted him for advice. Mr. Lužný's answer was unacceptable for the anti-cultists, because if one relies on Mr. Lužný's truthful conclusion, ALLATRA cannot be called a sect. And this was not part of the anti-cultists' plans…
So, can we conclude that Mr. Lužný is not scandalous enough for the Czech media?
He, unlike Mr. Vojtíšek, is genuinely engaged in independent academic work in religious studies.
But you may ask me why I suddenly started talking about the Czech Republic?
Respected Egon Cholakian (analytical video report) provides the following response: “So why did the KGB need to spend so much money, allocate so many resources, and time to do all this with ALLATRA in Ukraine? The answer is quite simple: because Ukraine is a bridge, a bridge to democratic countries. By conducting a discrediting media campaign against ALLATRA in Ukraine, through which they enlisted all the rejects of Ukrainian journalism into their service, their plan is to gather among journalists a similar harvest of sell-out, collaborationist scum in European democratic countries as well. For this purpose, Ukraine plays the role of a bridge. Since the start of military actions, the entire democratic world has sided with Ukraine. Accordingly, the narratives dominant within the country are supported and accepted. By conducting a demonstrative information attack on the ALLATRA movement in Ukraine, they thereby paved the way for penetration into European countries as well through a similar attack.”
This bias in the work of anti-cultists is obvious and poses a threat to freedom of speech and freedom not only in the Czech Republic, but also around the world.
It is important to remember that anti-cultists use slander and manipulation to undermine trust in any movement that disagrees with their own views.
In this situation, it is necessary to be vigilant and critically evaluate the information disseminated by anti-cultists.
